Trimble Identity, also known as Trimble ID, is the sign-in functionality used for fast, secure access to SketchUp and all Trimble products. Trimble ID uses multiple layers of high-level protection, safeguarding your privacy and protecting your data.
Trimble ID provides significant security and user experience features including:
- Two-factor authentication
- Single Sign-On (SSO) capability
- 3rd party sign-in and registration options like Google, Apple, and Microsoft
- Easy to use account management controls
- Cloud storage via Trimble Connect
To use SketchUp products you will need to login using your Trimble ID. Your Trimble Id also provides access to 3D Warehouse, the Extension Warehouse, and the SketchUp Community forums.
If you are new to SketchUp, or have yet to create a Trimble ID, start with Creating a Trimble ID, an article with step-by-step instructions on how to create a Trimble ID using your email address.
In 3rd Party Sign-in with Trimble ID we'll cover how you can use your Google, Apple, or Microsoft accounts with Trimble ID.
In Multi-factor Authentication we provide information on how to secure your account using multi-factor authentication and answer some common questions.
For everything else, we have Troubleshooting where you will find common issues and their solutions.
Still having an issue and you just can't find an answer for it? SketchUp's Support team can help!
