Downloading
Scan Essentials does not come with the standard installation of the SketchUp desktop application. You can download Scan Essentials from either the Account Management Portal > My Products page or from the SketchUp Extension Warehouse.
Installation
Please refer to the Adding Extensions article in our Help Center. Be aware that after the initial installation, you should close and restart the SketchUp application. When you launch the Scan Essentials application for the first time, secondary installation dialogs may appear in order to complete the installation process into SketchUp and LayOut.
Authorization
Scan Essentials is only available with a Studio subscription or an individual Scan Essentials subscription. The extension is automatically authorised when you successfully sign into the SketchUp application using your Trimble ID.

- RAM: minimum 16 GB
- VGA card: OpenGL 3.3 compatible with minimum 1 GB VRAM. OpenGL 4.4 with 3 GB of VRAM recommended for best performance. 3-button mouse
